Nancy Jane Caler

Nancy Jane Caler

Nancy Jane Caler, 95, formerly of Greene Township, Pennsylvania went home to be with her heavenly Father on October 25, 2025.

Nancy was a devoted wife to her late husband of 65 years, George Morgan Caler; a beloved mother to her children: George Jeffrey (Susan) Caler, Jerry Ray (Laura) Caler, Lona Jayne (David) Kapanka, and the late Lori Jill (Robert) Zimmerman; and a wonderful grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by sisters, Marjorie Geisel and Edith Hughes and was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Juanita and William Arthur McCoy, and sisters Alda Glover and Elizabeth Terwilliger.

Nancy loved the Lord, her family, and helping those in need. She was active in her church, hosted Bible studies in her home, volunteered faithfully in her community, and loved tending to her house, her bluebirds, her German Shepherds, her raspberries, and her roses. Her greatest blessings were her children, her “priceless” grandchildren, and “precious” great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to a viewing from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am on Tuesday, November 4, 2025at the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver.  Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Hookstown.

  1. My condolences to the Caler family. Aunt Nancy will be missed. She was a blessing…now in the arms of our Lord. I came to know our Lord at their home October 9, 1969. I can see her playing Scrabble with her Mom and sister’s. This is not good-bye Aunt Nancy but until we meet again in Heaven. Love you

  2. Our heartfelt sympathy to the Caler family. We have fond memories of George and Nancy at White family gatherings.

  3. Jeff, Jerry and Jayne, your mom was a special lady and a woman who loved her Lord and her family. Will never forget her coming to our home and having Bible stories with the neighborhood kids and her hospitality when I came to your home, which was many times. And the time she drove me to Wheeling to take the Civil Service test for USPS. I like to think I’m a better person because of her influence upon me. She will be missed, but only for a while. Prayers…
