Marie Catherine McCallister
Marie Catherine McCallister, 81 of Center Twp., passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 in her home. She was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania on February 13, 1944. She was the daughter of Jerry and Catherine (Pindorova) Hornicek. She was a graduate of Moon High School and attended Garfield Business School in Beaver Falls, PA.
She retired after over 20 years as a secretary at The Shippingport Power Station working for both Westinghouse and Duquesne Light/First Energy. Marie loved her family and always wanted them to be happy. She loved to hear about the adventures of her childrens’ family, especially the stories her grandchildren shared about their adventures in their jobs. She was a loving grandmother, mother, mother-in-law and wife. She will be dearly missed by all the people that knew her well.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Glenn McCallister; two children: Diana (Stephen) McDonell and Richard McCallister; 2 grandchildren: Devin McCallister and Madeline McDonell; and a loving sister, Martha Cropper.
As were her wishes all services are private.
