Ruth E. Bonzo

Ruth E. Bonzo, 99, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in Passavant Retirement Center.  She was born in Aliquippa, PA on December 25, 1923 a daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Cleveland. She was a retired cook working for Penn State University, Beaver Campus.  She was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester. 

She is survived by 4 children: Randy & Vicki Bonzo, Beth & Cliff Glenz, William Bonzo, and Joan & Steve Knotts; 5 grandchildren: Eric (Dora) Glenz, Ivan (Julie) Glenz, Jessica (Stephen) Valent, Kailey Knotts, and Christina Weber; 7 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her son Ed Bonzo and a sister Betty Tanner.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, October, 24 2023 from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30am in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester.

Private interment will take place in Burry’s Church Cemetery.
