Jane Marie Goehring

Jane Marie Goehring, 91, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Providence Care Center.  She was born in Butler, PA on May 8, 1931 a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Miller.  She was born and raised on her family farm in Oakland Twp., Pennsylvania. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, attending Sts. Peter and Paul Church. She was a retired nurse working at Rochester Hospital and then at The Medical Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, all of whom she loved above anything else.  She did enjoy watching Steeler, Pirate and Penguin Games and being outdoors, camping or going to the beach.  She was a former member of the Big Knob VFD Ladies Auxiliary, a former Den Mother and a former member of the PTA at Unionville School and PA School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell, an infant son Richard, a sister and brother-in-law: Betty & Robert Baptiste, a brother Paul Miller, and a daughter-in-law Mariann Goehring. 

She is survived by her six children: Larry Goehring, Kathy (Lou) Campero, Dennis (Angelika) Goehring, Shirley (John) Bundy, Michael (Kim) Goehring, and Edward Goehring; 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law: Mamie Miller and Eloise Harris, and many nieces. 

Friends will be received on Monday, November 21, 2022 in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester from 4pm until the time of Blessing Service at 6pm. 

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
