Robert L. Hollein (79) of Hopewell Township passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023

Born October 24, 1943 he was the son of the (late) Richard and Wilhemina (Acheson) Hollein; brother of the (late) Richard W and Shirley Hollein; Carolyn and (late) William Karas; Tammy and Tim Nebel and (late) Sisters and Brother-in-laws and aunts and uncles. 

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Susie (Nay) Hollein, children Richard (Catherine) Hollein, Missy (Dan) McElhaney, Becky (Lance) Malobabich, grandchildren Josh and Rob McElhaney, Mikaela and Dylan Malobabich.

Proud grandfather, never missing games, practices, and concerts and he was overly proud watching them mature as caring and thoughtful men and women.

Bob enjoyed being a member of St. James Masonic Lodge 457 and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 164, New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church Elder, Coach of former H-I-R Midget Football league, Boy Scout leader Troop 442 and volunteer at The Ladle in Ambridge.

Known as “Mr. Bob” for many years at Hopewell (Kane Road) Elementary school proudly taking care of the school, his teachers, and students.

We would like to thank our family, many good friends, Bradbury neighbors, the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church congregation and medical professionals who have offered tremendous love and support during Bob’s journey home.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 3pm until 7pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa 2345 Mill St. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11am in New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church 183 New Bethlehem Church Rd. Aliquippa, conducted by his pastor, Rev. Randall Clow.
A Masonic Service will be held on Tuesday at 6:30pm in the funeral home.
Private interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated for New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Aliquippa PA and or Eastern Star #164 Scholarship Fund, c/o Victoria Michaels, 1869F Barclay Hill Road, Beaver PA
