Marian Bergman Douglass
Marian Bergman Douglass, 95, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023. Born August 8, 1928 in Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren L. Douglass; parents, Fred and Florence Bergman; 2 siblings and a dear friend, Allen Stickles. She was a member of Ohio U.P. Church in Hopewell Twp. She loved her church family.
She is survived by two daughters: Susan Theolass, Oregon; Pattie (John) Smolar, South Beaver; a son Mark (Marsha) Douglass; Hopewell Twp.; her beloved grandson, Timothy Douglass Smolar, South Beaver; a brother, Charles Bergman, GA; a special niece, Linda Roush, Pittsburgh; and dear friends, Wendy Fleegal, Pam Dixon, and Bev Gruber. All were a blessing to Marian.
As were Marian’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11am in Ohio U.P. Church. 1236 Longvue Ave. Aliquippa, PA 15001.
The family would like to thank the kind, caring staff at Concordia Villa St. Joseph for their loving care of our mom. She loved you all.

I will miss talking with her. She has been my counsel since my mom died in 2006. I know she’s at peace and hope she and the rest of the “clan” will help those of us left find our way. Godspeed. Aunt Marian. I love you!!
