James F. Linn

James F. Linn, 82, of Crescent passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Heritage Valley Sewickley surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland on January 3, 1939 the son of the late Samuel and Laney Linn. He was retired from the Welded Tube department as a pipe inspector with J&L Steel.  He was a member of Christ Alliance Church and a former member of Crescent Senior Citizens. Jim loved football and watching the Steelers. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, teaching his children how to ride, boating, waterskiing, and traveling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Samuel Linn and a sister Suellen Parisi.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Patricia Linn; three children: Dollie & John Ruffaner, Ellwood City, Joe Linn, Corry, PA and Penny & Alfred Samuel, Crescent; 8 grandchildren: Erica (Tom) Ketter, Danielle (Jason) Bourque, John Ruffaner, A.J. Linn, Rose Linn, Michael (Becky) Scott, Lucas (Rayette) Scott. 17 great grandchildren with one more due in December; and a brother Jack (Mary) Linn, FL.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aliquippa (2345 Mill St.) Where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am.
Interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
