Jim was a loving Husband, Father and Grandpap. He provided for his family through Gray Painting for more than 50 years.
He was united in marriage to Margot Sue MacKeage on November 26, 1957. They celebrated 46 years of marriage before heaven called her home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his adoring wife, Sue, and his dog, Sebastian.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Pamela Morrow and husband, Thomas, Linda Widmer and husband, David, Jennifer Sarver and husband, Michael, and his son, Jeffrey Gray and wife Debbie; Grandchildren: Nicole (Morrow)Davis, Christina Morrow, Michelle Morrow, Jamie (Widmer) Anuskewic, Tracy (Widmer) Pratte, Alexus (Widmer) Sieger, Brandon Gray, Breanna Gray, Aubriegh Sarver and Kaden Sarver; Great Grandchildren: Addilynn, Sawyer, Mila, Aria, Ezra, Henry, and Baby Sieger coming in March 2022.
He loved and lived life to its fullest. He was a proud Air Force veteran of WWII, a fantastic country musician who taught himself to play the pedal steel guitar, an excellent golfer, avid hunter and fisherman, and skier (water and snow). But above all these he was a man who believed that family is first and he portrayed this by being the best father and grandfather that anyone could want. Christmas by far was his favorite holiday and he couldn’t wait to light up the house and put the tree up! Many waitresses, nurses, and bank tellers could not escape his teasing humor and jokes. All knew his name and enjoyed the time they had with him! A hard-working, blue-collar worker who did things his way with a strong work ethic.
