Marion John Prajsner
Marion John Prajsner, 90, of Raccoon Twp. died peacefully on May 8th, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Orzechowka, Poland on August 6, 1928 the son of the late Joseph & Aniela (Kwolek) Prajsner.
Marion was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, and a retiree from J&L Steel Corporation. After retiring, he served as President of S.O.A.R. for 23 years. He was also a past president of the Polish National Alliance. He was a skilled carpenter and a “Jack of all trades” whom with his wife, Jane, helped many family and friends over the years. They never turned their back to those in need and were always there for everyone.
He is survived by his wife of over 65 yrs., Jane (Szarek) Prajsner. Two sisters, Teresa Kohut (Dennis), NC, & Jane Parrish (Wayne), Raccoon Twp. His several nieces & nephews will miss him as well.
In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Prajsner.
Friends will be received today, Friday May 10th from 4-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aliquippa (2345 Mill Street). Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 9:30 AM in St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
