Esther Nell Patterson

Esther Nell Patterson, 85, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in her home. She was born on June 4, 1940 a daughter of the late Frank and Irene Cooke. She was a beloved mother who did everything she could to help her family. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Esther was a great cook, she especially enjoyed preparing food for her family get togethers, holidays, and other special occasions. Her cooking will be missed by all. Esther and her husband Ray would spend their winters in Florida, which was always a fun time for them. She also enjoyed watching game shows and playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray in 2014, and her six brothers and sisters and a grandson, Lance Patterson.

Esther is survived by her beloved children: Doug Patterson; Brenda & Karl Orndoff; Frank & Terri Patterson; and Betty & Ron McElhaney; 9 grandchildren: Alex Patterson; Danny Orndoff, Kody Orndoff, Ashley Stein, Kasi Patterson, Megan Patterson, Miranda Patterson, Jessie McElhaney, and Nikki McElhaney; 10 great grandchildren: Jayden, Aspen, Braelyn, Keagan, Phoenix, Seylah, Kenny, Kyra, Meilani, and Zephyr.

Friends will be received on Monday, January 26, 2026 from 3pm until 7pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa, 2345 Mill St. Where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 11am.

Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
