  1. Bob was a good friend of mine since junior high school in Lansing, IL. We stayed in touch with each other through college and thereafter. Played golf with him whenever he was in Florida after both of us retired. He was a good man, father, grandfather and husband. He will be missed.

  2. Bob was a good friend and mentor. I met him my very first day at LTV Steel and he took me to the welded tube. Little did I know that 20 years later I would still be working with him. We were there at the end at the Tin mill. We’ve kept in touch over the years. I always respected him greatly. He loved to shoot and run shooting tournaments at his gun club. And he loved his little sports car. We had many a lunch at Harold’s inn and JW Halls. His favorite drink was Southern Comfort on the rocks. My deepest sympathies to Karen and his daughters and their families. I will always remember Bob.
