Connie L. Semon

Connie L. Semon, 87 of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. She was born in Middleburg, PA on November 10, 1937 the daughter of the late Ira Alanzo Zimmerman and Verbena Catherine Kuhns Zimmerman-Myers. She was a long-time member of Mt. Carmel Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She loved to watch old black and white classic movies. She used to love to crochet, do crafts, and was excellent at pastels. She won an award for a pastel piece she did of her father.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Semon; a son, Ronald George Semon; a daughter-in-law: Ann Mattingly; and her beloved dog Max.

She is survived by her 4 children: Terri (John) LaMark, Moon Twp.; Robert Semon; Alexandria, VA; Vicki Semon, Nashville, TN; and Daniel Semon, Amissville, VA; 2 brothers: Roger (Steve Swain) Zimmerman, Dennis (Denise) Zimmerman; a sister-in-law: Freta Schubert; 2 grandchildren: Colette Georgia Semon and Elise Corinne Semon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Sunday May 11 from noon until 4 pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday May 12 at 11am in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church 2720 Brodhead Rd. Aliquippa, PA 15001.
