
Michael P. Ubaldi
Michael P. Ubaldi, 74 of Rochester Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in UPMC McCandless. He was born on July 20, 1950, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, a son of the late Carmen Ubaldi and Elizabeth Giesler McConnell. Mike graduated from Wallenpaupack High School in Hawley, PA. During his high school years Mike played baseball and basketball. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Mansfield College. Michael was a retired Locomotive Engineer working with Norfolk Southern for 36 years. He loved to walk, he, his wife and dog Buddy would walk around the track at Rochester High School, and they enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Jamaica.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sundy Ubaldi; two daughters: Niki (Thaddee Boyogueno) Ubaldi, and Gina (Jay) Kolanko ; 1 son Tony (Gina) Ubaldi; 5 grandchildren: Camren, Yves, Beau, Theo and Rael; siblings: Raymond (Lora) Ubaldi, Dennis (Denise) Ubaldi, Donna (Rob) Cron, Mark (Betty) McConnell, Margie Walker-Horsch and Mark (Betty) McConell; several nieces & nephews; 4 sisters-in-law: Marsha (Willie) Ellison, Yvonne Bell, Doris Nash, and Norma Pinkston.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Noon in Second Baptist Church of Rochester 200 Clay St. Rochester, PA 15074.

So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was a good friend since the 60’s and a Sigma Tau Gamma Brother. May Mike rest in eternal Peace. Prayers go out to Sundy and all the Ubaldi Family.
