I will miss you so much. You were always there when I needed you. You are one of the sweetest men I’ve ever known. My prayers are with you and with Bess!
Thank you, Bob, for all that you did for me and my family. As a rudderless teenager, you guided me to my career choice – Electrical Engineering.
As an adult, you always told me how proud you were of me. I am thankful to have had you as such a great mentor, friend, and father-figure. I cannot express how much you and Bess mean to me.
You were even a mentor to my adult daughter, Brittany. When she quotes you, I smile, because I can still hear you saying these things. For example: “If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.” “Getting old sucks!” “I used to hunt them (wildlife), now I feed them.” You have made impressions on us all. Thank you for sharing your time & stories with us. Your memory lives on in the lives of those you have touched.
