Joseph John Smith

Joseph John Smith, 60 of Raccoon Twp., died unexpectedly at home on August 21, 2024.

He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Rosemary Smith; his special uncle and aunt, Art and Earlene Lantz who treasured him; and his cats, Buttons and Pumpkin. Joe is also survived by countless friends who enjoyed his wit and humor. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Smith and Uncle Gene Kohler.

Joe worked on the Response Team at the Shippingport Nuclear Plant for 16 years, and most recently he worked in the Parts Department at Crivelli Ford in Hopewell Twp. He was a lifelong animal and nature lover.

Joe fought numerous health problems with strength and dignity. His mom wants the world to know he was the best son ever and brought her so much happiness. He will be forever loved and missed. 

All services are private.
