Eugene H. Ruby
Eugene H. Ruby, 82, of Rochester Twp., passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 in his home. He was born in Rochester, PA on November 18, 1941 the son of the late Roy and Julia Ruby. Gene was a well-known and respected contractor and painter in the area. He owned and operated Ruby’s Remodeling for many years. He was an extremely hard worker, always wanted to be busy working. When he was younger, he enjoyed bowling and playing pool and softball. Mainly, Gene just wanted to be with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rexine Ruby; two sons: Paul & Laura Ruby, Folsom, California; and Michael & Leanne Ruby, Beaver; 4 grandchildren: Anna (Ahmed), Sam, Dylan and Cassandra; and his sister: Yvonne Bozek.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Alex Ruby.

This man taught me the value of hard work and taking pride in what is done every day to provide for a family. My brother followed directly in his footsteps and has done the same for his family. I never came to enjoy home remodeling but learned how to do everything for myself and get things done, which certainly paid off and I hope I’ve given the same to my family.
