Marilyn Kendrew

Marilyn (Ondrako) Kendrew, 88, of Raccoon Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in her home.  She was born on May 19, 1935 a daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Pospisil Ondrako.  She was owner and operator of Kendrew’s Lounge, working many years with her husband and children.  She loved to go to casinos, especially Mountaineer.  She and her husband Don, enjoyed traveling in their motorhome.  Her favorite thing in life was her family.  She especially loved spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald L Kendrew; a grandson: Jimmy Ondrako; a granddaughter: Dawn Marie Kendrew; a brother: Eugene Ondrako and a sister: Nancy Vidovich.

She is survived by her three children: Joseph & Joanie Ondrako, Pamela (Dwayne Plevel) Kendrew, and Marcy (Tim Shaffer) Kendrew; 4 grandchildren: Jonathan (Taylor) Prosko,  Josh (Rebecca) Prosko, Joseph Ondrako, and Jennifer Seltz; 5 great grandchildren: Jayden, Olivia, Noah, Adrianna, and Lacey; and a sister Pauline Wright.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 3pm until 7pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2023 around 10:30am for a procession to Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
