R. Virginia Morgan
R. Virginia Morgan, 96 of Pulaski Twp., passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 in Rochester Manor. She was born in New Brighton on January 9, 1927 a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Thompson. She worked for New Brighton Area Schools as a Secretary for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul, two daughters: Christine Schopmeyer and Grace Ward, a brother Charles Thomson, and 2 sisters: Eleanor Thompson and Mary Ellen Grabowski.
She is survived by a daughter: Jennifer Donovan, 8 grandchildren: Rebecca (Jason) LaFary, Hannah Pickett, Rachel Schopmeyer, James (Amber) Schopmeyer, Andrew (Renee) Ward, Hilary (Jay) Moorman, Seth (Sara) Donovan, and Sheena (Ryan Pearson) Donovan; 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 2pm until the time of Funeral Service at 5pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

Virginia was my secretary when I became Principal in the New Brighton Elementary School. She was efficient, loyal, and protective. No one got to me without going through her first. She kept me out of a lot of trouble. I’ll always remember her. I am sorry I can’t be with her family to morn her loss today. Rest in Peace Virginia.
