  1. Rest easy buddy. Jared was a friend of mine since kindergarten. After graduation we were friends but kind of drifted apart once he went to the service and started his own thing. I would think about him throughout the years. Through a friend I heard of his passing and it hit me pretty hard. A lot of memories with Jared and his brother and some other close friends growing up. It’s a sad day for sure. We weren’t friends on Facebook but after I heard about his diagnosis I wrote him a message and I knew he wouldn’t get it because we weren’t friends on there but it made me feel better expressing my feelings, and maybe one day we’ll cross paths again. Peace love and respect, brother. RIP

  5. Please give his mother Sarah my regards. I do not have your mailing address to send you a hardcopy of this message. Let Sarah, you have my deepest sympathy, and the loss of your son, Jared. I did not know him well only met him a few times at family reunions, but he showed great love for his family and that he was a kind person.
I was shocked to learn of his death, as I had not known he had brain cancer. Please find comfort in that those who know him have a high regard for him, and that he was such a good person. My aunt and uncle his grandparents would have been so proud of him, and were while they lived. My parents were Gus and Ernestine Baumgarner.
