Thoren Loch Griffin

Thoren Loch Griffin

Thoren “Thor” Loch Griffin was born on July 14th, 2022 to loving and caring parents Jonathon & Elsa (Umstead) Griffin, and his amazing big Sister Ailey Griffin.

He was born with a very special heart, “Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome/Double Outlet Right Ventricle.” He was also born with a rare genetic condition called “Jacobsen Syndrome”. Thor was so much more than his diagnosis, he was a brave, strong, smart little boy with a big personality and loved everyone he knew. He enjoyed Christmas & Santa Music, Spiderman & Superheroes and playing with his toys, getting snuggles & singing!

We thank want to thank Children’s Hospital for providing excellent care and love for our precious boy.

A celebration of life will be held at the North Way Christian Community, Beaver Valley Campus (300 Brighton Ave. Rochester PA 15074) on Saturday June 10th at 1 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rady’s Foundation HLHS & Jacobsen Syndrome research lab http://give.rchsd.org/goto/DrGrossfeld2023

A private interment will take place at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies
