Nancy Elisabeth Vogeley

Nancy Elisabeth Vogeley (“cookie lady”), 74 of Moon Twp. died on Tuesday, March 28, in her home, surrounded by her family. 

Nancy was born January 23, 1949 to George P. and Marie (Betty) E. Vogeley, and she grew up in the Churchill and Penn Hills area, graduating from Penn Hills High School. She earned an Associate’s degree in Medical Terminology at Robert Morris.

She married William F. Randolph III in 1969, and they lived in Moon Twp.  In 1991 she married John Corso who preceded her in death.

Nancy worked for United Healthcare, Coventry Insurance and then Aetna Insurance, from which she retired.  She then worked for Dr. DiSanti and Associates in Moon Township.  

Nancy had a great sense of humor, a kind heart, and a strong will.  She lived life with a smile and much positivity.  She was a person who loved being with other people. Nancy was known as “the cookie lady” and enjoyed baking and sharing cookies with those she loved.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Vogeley; son, William Gerald Randolph; her daughter April Marie Miller (Dan); grandchildren Owen, Bryce and Abigail Miller and Lilly and Madelyn Randolph.  Also surviving her are Timothy D. Corso (Tracey), John D Corso (Mary), Wendy L. Corso (Bill), Anthony J. Corso, Andrea L. Corso (Robert), Bonnie Rose Corso (Ray) and their children. 

Friends will be received on Saturday, April 1 from 10AM until time of the Memorial Service at 11AM at the Abundant Grace Church, 1798 Brodhead Rd, Crescent, PA 15046.  Private interment will take place at a later date.

The Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Moon Twp. is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to these organizations with values close to Nancy’s heart: UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh, and/or Animal Friends.

  2. The Light went out March 28th, when you left us, Nancy, We have lost a brace of Kingsmen, a truly amazing person. You are so loved and adored by all of us, Jamie, and I will miss you so much that mere words cannot express it. Nancy, you left too soon, this world will never be the same. You are in our hearts and thoughts forever.

  3. Nancy was always one of the most optimistic and sweet friends I could ever be blessed having… we shared so many great times at RMU… remained friends throughout the years. …she was a woman of great faith and loved her family… Rest in Peace….a true angel has joined her Lord in heaven.
