Sharri M. (DeMarco) Spratley

Sharri M. (DeMarco) Spratley, 74, of Brighton Twp., passed away on February 14, 2023. She was born in Rochester, PA., on April 1, 1948, to the late Louis “Gigi” and Lucille E. (Shaffalo) DeMarco.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Spratley, with whom she would have celebrated her fiftieth wedding anniversary on May 5th; her five children, Joseph J. Spratley Jr., April D. Spratley, Ph.D., Laura A. Spratley, Natalie S. Spratley and Michael S. (Kristy) Spratley; her 6 grandchildren, Jade L. Spratley, Jasmine O. Cunning, Travis J. Cunning Jr., James L. Chop Jr., Lucy E. and Michael R. Spratley and her brother-in-law, David (Kathie) Spratley.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Marie C. Barkovic and Daniel R. DeMarco.

A graduate of Hopewell High School, Sharri was a lifelong lover of music and enjoyed listening to many different genres of music. Sharri was also a movie buff and had an encyclopedic knowledge of film soundtracks and their composers. A devoted homemaker, Sharri loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 24th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.). A blessing service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, followed by interment in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
