Ronald L. “Bull” Hogue Sr.

Ronald L. “Bull” Hogue Sr., 79 of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in his home.  He was born in Rochester, PA on September 27, 1943 the son of the late Melvin and Alberta Hogue. 
Ronald devoted much of his life to public safety in the Borough of Rochester.  Where he served as a Police Sergeant and Fire Chief over the years. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: James, Gerald, & Melvin “Skippy” Hogue, and a sister Shirley “Sissy” Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Sherry (Swager) Hogue; four children: Ronda & James Boord, Ronald L. Hogue Jr.; Richard A. Hogue, and Sherry L. Hogue; a grandson: Maison “Big Man” Hogue; four brothers: Charles, Jack, Richard, and David Hogue; four sisters: Ethel Hermick, Melva Jean Petcovic, Betty Jo Nalesnick, and Sue Ellen Hogue. He also leaves behind numerous beloved nieces and nephews and many friends.

Friends will be received on Friday from 3pm until 7pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester 502 Adams St. A prayer service will be conducted at 6pm.
