Phyllis Naomi (Earley) McCormick
Phyllis Naomi (Earley) McCormick, 93, of Neville Island, passed away on April 23, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in New Matamoras, OH on September 6, 1928, the fifth out of sixteen children of the late Harold and Jesse (Alloway) Earley.
Phyllis was a devoted mother and beloved grandmother. She is survived by seven children: Diane Kuehn (Gordon), Penn Hills; Thomas McCormick (Cindy), Moon Twp.; Bill McCormick (Doreen), Moon Twp.; Denise Selby, Neville Island; Richard McCormick, VA; Pamela Steimer (Paul), Monroeville; Colleen Rokicki (Ron), Moon Twp, thirty-five grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, four brothers, Roger Earley, David Earley, John Early and Jimmie Earley; and four sisters, Beulah Apperson, Twila Griffin, Norma Buegle and Marjorie Butler,
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas F. McCormick, a daughter, Patricia McCormick, a son, Charles McCormick, and four grandchildren, Jessica, Loretta, Thomas, and Charles; four brothers, Paul, Harold, Floyd and Richard and three sisters, Ethel, Ruby and Mary.
Friends will be received on Tuesday April 26th from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) where a Funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM, interment will follow at Coraopolis Cemetery.
