Betty Jane Cosky
Betty Jane Cosky, 90, formerly of Rochester Twp., passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Providence Care Center. She was born in Aliquippa, PA on November 24, 1931 the daughter of the late William and Grace (Cable) Gray.
She was a retired Service Executive for the former Kaufmann’s Department Store, originally helping to open the Rochester store and then, moving with the store to the Beaver Valley Mall. Betty and her husband Richard, owned C&C Farm where they raised and showed registered quarter horses. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Richard V. Cosky in 2009; a son: Michael Cosky, and also a brother: James Gray both in 2021.
She is survived by her two children: Richard & Jane Cosky, Rochester; and Beth A. Cosky, New Castle; a daughter-in-law: Georgia Cosky, Windsor, VA; 6 grandchildren: Shawn (Jackie) Cosky, Amanda (Jason) Roberts, Daniel Cosky, Michael (Shirley) Cosky, Kristen (Jason) Newman, and Victoria Fiorta; 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
As were her wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I loved Betty she was like the grandmother I never had. She accepted me for me even though she couldn’t remember my name haha. She was such an out going, sweet, loving person. I will forever love and miss you. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss, I’ve heard the stories from Michael about the horse farm & how his grandmother loved it. May God wrap his arms around all of you during this time. May you be able to gather and share all your wonderful memories of her together.
