Albert D. Spratley
Albert D. Spratley, 79, of Rochester, PA, passed away on the lord’s day, Sunday February 27, 2022 at Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle. He was born in Rochester, PA., on June 13, 1942, a son of the late Joseph A. and Evelyn (Graham) Spratley.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Wawrzynski; and his siblings, Joseph A. Spratley Jr., George Spratley, Mary Ann (Pete) Zarilla, Isa Dora Spratley, James (Marion) Vogel, Sylvia A. Sanner, Edith (William) Davidson, Barbara Shultz, Betty J. Corrigan and Evelyn C. Gusshofen.
He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Spratley; his daughter, Debbie Faraoni, of Ellport, his grandchildren, Fred (Chelsea) Faraoni of Ellport, Daniel (Shanea) Faraoni of Wampum, Jonathan (Crystal) Wawrzynski of Ellwood City, and Kimberly Wawrzynski; seven great grandchildren, Rachelle, Arionna, Jonathan, Destinee Wawzynski and Damian, Landyn, Ezria Faraoni; and a great-great Grandson, Dalton.
He is also survived by his siblings, Robert E. Spratley and Gloria Moorehouse and many nieces and nephews.
Albert was employed by J&L Steel, the Rochester Boro Street Department, and Pittsburgh Bridge and Iron Works. He was also a former member of the Rochester Fireman’s Club.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 3-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM by Pastor Phil Conklin.
