Jack L. Keith

Jack L. Keith, 78 of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Rochester Manor.  He was born in Russell County Virginia on April 2, 1943 the son of the late Robert and Novie Keith.  He worked for the Iron Workers Local 3 Pittsburgh. He was a long-time member of the Economy Volunteer Fire Department. He was a charter member of the Economy Volunteer Ambulance Service and a charter member of the Beaver County Fire Police.  Helping those in need was his life and volunteering his services to do so, brought him great joy.

He is survived by his wife: Catherine Keith, two daughters: Angie (Roger) Jenkins, New Sewickley Twp., and Lora Keith, Hamilton, NJ; 3 grandchildren: Lucas (Amy) Jessee, Lindsey Barker, and Joshua Elko; three great granddaughters; and two brothers: Claude and Rhudy Keith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings: Venna Whitt and Alonzo Keith.

Friends will be received on Sunday from Noon until 4pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 1pm. 

By order of Fire Chief Ted Brickner, members of Economy Borough Fire Department will assemble on Sunday at 3pm to conduct a service for their brother.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jack’s honor to your local fire department.
