Virginia M. Reed

Virginia M. Reed, 95, of Aliquippa, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Masonic Village of Sewickley.  She was born in Aliquippa, PA on October 25, 1924 the daughter of the late Andrew and Amy Smith.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa and the VFW Post #1821 Center Twp. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Reed in 2008 and 6 siblings: John, Arthur, Howard and Jean Smith, Amy Lang, and Marlene Gruzinski.

She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law: Gary & Anna Marie Reed, Denver, CO; Richard and Susan Reed, Huntington, PA; and Kevin & LuAnn Reed, Aliquippa.  8 Grandchildren: Bradley, Nick, Zackery, Rachel, Jonathan, Enrico, Kayla, and Kelly. 5 great grandchildren: Ariana, Ella, Alice, Rosalie, and Finnegan and one sister: Janet Smith, Vanport.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4pm~8pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa. Where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00AM.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
