William G. Miracle Jr.

William G. Miracle Jr., 94, of Aliquippa, died on March 12, 2019 at Beaver Meadows, Beaver.  He was born in Connellsville, PA on July 20, 1924, the son of the late William G. Sr. & Ella Mae Coughenour Miracle.

He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean War, where he earned a Purple Heart.  He was the owner of Miracle Hardware in Aliquippa for over 20 years, was a Shriner and also a member of the Woodlawn Masonic Lodge # 672.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife of over 67 years, Alice D. Miracle , his sister, Lois McIntosh and grandson, Michael Sansotta.

He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Sansotta, Monaca; Susan Miracle, Tinton Falls, NJ; and Deborah Veness (Todd), Center Twp.; five grandchildren:  Andrew Sansotta, Pamela Jo Sansotta, Zachary Veness (Samantha), Lauren Veness, and Aaron Veness; four great grandchildren:  Brandy Sansotta, Jacob Torreance, Ethan & Alyzia Kazmarski and a sister-in-law, Nancy Powers.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Beaver Meadows for their outstanding care and compassion they provided to both of their parents.  Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, March 14 from 10AM until time of service at 11AM in the Huntsman Funeral Home of Aliquippa (2345 Mill Street), where Military Honors will be provided by the Beaver County Special Unit at 11:15AM.  Private burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
