Mary Margaret “Marge” Ditz

Mary Margaret “Marge” Ditz, 84, of Moon Twp. died in her home on May 18, 2017. She was born in Sewickley on April 30, 1933 the daughter of the late, Edward L. Ditz, Sr. & Margaret Elizabeth (Weber) Ditz.

Marge worked for many years in data processing for the AFL-CIO United Food & Commercial Workers Union. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

She is survived by five nieces & nephews: Ann Flugge (Perry), FL; Lori Ward (Rick), Moon Twp.; Eric Schneider, NY; Robert Ditz (Linda), OH & Edward L. Ditz III (Martha), CA. Five great nieces & nephews as well as nine great-great nieces & nephews, and her beloved schnauzer, Molly will miss her also.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward L. Ditz, Jr., and sisters, Irene Schneider & Norma Steill.

There will be no public visitation. The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon is in charge of arrangements.

Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Parish, Moon Twp. on Tuesday May 30th at 10 AM. Private interment will take place at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA.

The family would like to thank her hospice nurse, Kate Bollman for her outstanding care.
