Emma Jean (Solomon) Bonaparte
Emma Jean (Solomon) Bonaparte, 91, of Freedom, died on March 30, 2017 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born in Monaca on September 19, 1925 the daughter of the late Daniel & Mary (Coleman) Solomon.
In addition to her parents, Emma Jean was preceded in death by her husband James V. Bonaparte in 2007 and a sister Mary E. Carroll.
She is survived by her four children: James Bonaparte (LaVerne), Freedom, PA; Jeff Bonaparte (Judy), Scenery Hill, PA; John Bonaparte (Marilyn), Prosper, Texas; Jean Buerkle (John Jr.), Conway, PA. Eleven grandchildren: Jimmy, Bernadette, Amy, Heather, Brooke, Brandon & Matthew Bonaparte, Tammy Thomas, Zachary, Hannah & Steven Buerkle. Five Great grandchildren: Allison & Chase Bonaparte, Gabriella, Sophia & Olivia Thomas, Brother, Dan Solomon & sister, Helen Popa.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Rochester (502 Adams St.), where prayers will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday (April 4) prior to Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Felix Catholic Church, Freedom, where Emma was a life-long member. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Freedom.
The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver for their special care of Emma Jean.

To the family of Emma, I am so sorry for your loss. I was her mothers neighbor on 13th street in Monaca and remember her visiting her mom. I cannot believe it has been 30 years since I last saw her. She was always so nice as was her mom.
