Edith L. Wagner

Edith L. Wagner, 95, of Hopewell Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday May 28, 2021 in Whispering Pines Village.  She was born in Aliquippa, PA on November 11, 1925 the daughter of the late Calvin Wayne & Catherine Strickler.    During World War II she worked in the lab at Coppers Company as a chemist.  She was a wonderful seamstress and loved to bake.  She and her husband enjoyed helping with the Cub and Boy Scouts.  She was very devoted to her beloved family; she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Wagner and her son Daniel Wagner.

She is survived by her children: Charles Wagner Jr., El Paso, TX; Lois & Kenneth Kearns, Hopewell Twp.; David & Kara Wagner, Virginia Beach, VA and Jeff & Mary Wagner, Rogers, OH; a daughter-in-law: Debra Wagner; 16 grandchildren: Charles Wagner III, Cally Llamos, Karen (Mark) Boyd, Jennifer (Denis) Heid, Kimberly (Tim) Fitzgerald, Dawn (Michael) Bouquet, Desi (James) Neville, Danelle, Deanna, Justin, Joel, & Jared Wagner,  Jenn (Greg) Simpson, Ashley (Duane) Myers, and Katie (Jared) Knapp and Megan (Patrick) Buckley; 22 great grandchildren; and three siblings: Floyd Strickler, Ella Zimmerman, and Catherine Cochran.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 9 2021 at 11:30 AM in Ohio United Presbyterian Church in Aliquippa. 1236 Longvue Ave.

Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
