Virginia L. Williams

Virginia L. Williams, 75, of Rochester Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in her home.  She was born on July 18, 1945 the daughter of the late James and Nellie (Richards) Tutwiler.  She was a retired kindergarten teacher from Ambridge Area School District where she taught for 42 years.  Teaching was her passion, she loved children and helping them to learn.  She enjoyed tending and growing flowers and spending time at her cabin in Marienville, PA.  She was an active member of Word Alive Church in Ellwood City for more than 25 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard L. Williams in 1994.

She is survived by her children, Michael Williams, Richard (Debbie) Williams, Fred (Sandy) Williams, Tambra (Baney) Willis and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is also survived by, a brother and sister-in-law, James M. and Catherine “Tina” Tutwiler, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1pm in Word Alive Church, Ellwood City.
