Goldie Caler

Goldie Caler, 90, of Independence Township, passed away Thursday, August 30,2018. She was born May 25, 1928 in Ambridge, a daughter of the late Sharp Davidson and Carrie (Neal) Davidson.

She is a retired sales clerk from the Town and Country Cleaner, Aliquippa. She was a member of the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, and the Hopewell Twp. VFW ladies Auxiliary. She also was a member of the grandmothers bowling league, Sheffield Lanes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald D. Caler, Sr; a son, Lester Caler; her granddaughter, Leslie Caler; her brother, Sharp Davidson and a sister Lila Bryson.

She is survived by her son, Ronald “Buckwheat” Caler; daughter in law, Lorie Caler; her grandson, Lester Caler, and 3 great grandchildren, Caden, Tessa, and Charlotte; and her sister, Olive Kastler.

 

Friends will be received on Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM, in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Aliquippa, (2345 Mill St.) where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM with her Pastor, Randall Clow. Interment will be private at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Raccoon Twp.
