Michael E. Lubert

Michael E. Lubert, 92, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017, in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born on January 3, 1925, the son of the late Mike and Anna Lubert, he was a retired Field Inspector for Duquesne Light. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II. He was a member of the Unionville American Legion #512. He loved spending his time working and living on his farm.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Lubert; a sister, Pearl  Varinaitis,  and  a  son-in-law, Robert Pardee.
He is survived by his five children, Linda Pardee, New Sewickley Twp.; Bonnie (Louis) Lazzaretti, Economy Boro; Barbara (Robert) Goehring, Daugherty Twp.; Susan (Joe Willkomm) Lubert, New Sewickley Twp., and Michael E. (Belinda) Lubert III, South Beaver Twp.; four grandchildren, Robert (Tammy) Goehring Jr., Angela (John) Batko, Bernadette (Ryan) Roland, and David (Colleen) Lazzaretti; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty Lubert; a brother, Larry Wikman, and a stepsister, Mildred “Tootsie” Boser.
As per his wishes, all services are private.
