
Christopher Joseph “Vid” Vidovich
Christopher Joseph “Vid” Vidovich, 50 of Independence Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in his home. He was born on March 22, 1976 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania the son of Veda Vidovich and the late Joseph Henry Vidovich. He was a 1994 graduate of Hopewell High School. Chris was a US Air Force veteran serving in Iraq as a crew chief. He was stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, FL from 2001 until the time of his accident in 2008. Chris was involved in a motorcycle accident that paralyzed him and changed the course of his life. He then moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to his family.
Chris is survived by his beloved mother, Veda; two sisters: Jennifer Lynn (Chris Hreha) & Toni Marie; a niece Kyleigh, nephew Chase, great nieces and nephew: Avery, Makayla, Madison, & Grayson; his caregiver and friend Dave Kurchina; a special cousin, Marissa; aunts, uncles and many cousins. Chris is also survived by his fur babies, Karma and Jabbers.
Friends will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 2~4pm and 6~8pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10 am in St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa.
The members of the Beaver County Special Unit will conduct Military Honors at the Church.
