Robert Allen Lockhart

Robert Allen Lockhart, 71 of Industry passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 26, 2026.  He was born in Rochester, Pennsylvania a son of the late William Earl Lockhart Sr. and Virginia “Virgie” (Grim) Lockhart. He was a former Security Supervisor for the Nuclear Power Plant in Shippingport. He was an active member of Planet Fitness and he loved a good cigar.  Bob loved to tell stories, whether they were true or not was the fun of it all. Could you tell or not?

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William “Butch” Lockhart Jr.; and a sister Kathy Ann Hlista.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen Lockhart; his three children: Jason & Betty Lockhart, Weirton, WV.; Jenn & Brandon Checketts, Center Twp.; and Jennifer Renae & Bill Nestor, Bridgeport, WV; 6 grandchildren: Devon & Jacob Lockhart; Brandon & Jaxson Checketts, and Madison & Morgan Walls. He is also survived by two special nieces: Kelly Godshall and LuAnn Anthony. He is also survived by his best dog friend: Mary Jane.
