Martha “Jean” Ramsey

Martha “Jean” Ramsey, 94. of Aliquippa, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.  She was born in West Virginia on January 17, 1931 a daughter of the late Paul Funk and Ruth Funk Glover. She worked for J&L Steel in the Tin Mill where she was a checker.  Jean loved animals, she enjoyed showing her love by donating to numerous animal charities. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn W. Ramsey and eight siblings: Ellen, Shirley, David, Harry, Arlene, Ray, Darlene and Linda.

She is survived by a sister Carol Pesich as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Friends will be received on Friday May 30, 2025 from 2pm ~ 4pm and 6pm ~ 8pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa 2345 Mill St. Aliquippa, PA 15001. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11am.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
