David J. Piole

David J. Piole, 73, of Robinson Twp., died on August 13, 2024 in Allegheny General Hospital.  He was born in Pittsburgh on August 28, 1950 the son of the late Joseph C. & Bertha Marie (Giger) Piole.

David was a graduate of North Hills High School, 1968.  He then earned his Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Marketing, 1972. Davids’s career consisted of sales with Heavy Equipment for various companies including, Machinery Rental, Metaris, D-A Lubricants, & Woodings Industrial Company.

Divid is survived by his wife, Gail (Youngworth) Piole. Three brothers, Michael Piole (Pam), South Park; Dan Piole, Millvale; Joe Piole, Pittsburgh.  His dog, Brody will miss him as well.

Friends will be received on Monday August 19th from 12 PM until time of Memorial Service at 5 PM in The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) Private interment will take place at a later date.

    I am so sorry to hear this news about David. We were friends in High School, where we all knew him as “Pie”.
    Recently, in just the last few years, we reconnected over the phone, where I would remind him that we would connect in-person the next time I was in Pittsburgh.
    My deepest condolences to you and his brothers on this terrible loss.

    Dean, Erik and I are saddened to hear about the loss of Dave. We truly enjoyed seeing him and Brody walking in Robinson. Dave was such a friendly guy who we will miss.
