Mary Jane (Lomaga) Soldo

Mary Jane (Lomaga) Soldo, 83, of Moon Twp. died peacefully in her home on December 15, 2016. She was born in Bethel Park on November 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Charles & Victoria Lomaga. Mary Jane worked as a secretary for the Moon Junior High School for many years, and also worked part time at Banana Republic. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Moon Twp., where she was active in the Christian Mothers and the Spiritual Community. She was on the board of the Robinson Y.M.C.A and baby sat for four children. She is survived by her husband Donald Joseph Soldo, a daughter, Victoria Lynn King (Robinson Twp.), four grandchildren, Christopher & Whitney Soldo, Marissa & Madison King, a great granddaughter, Arden Frediani, and numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by a son, Donald J. Soldo, Jr., and siblings, Bill Rabis, John Rabis, Helen Thomas, and Stella Rabis. Friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Monday, December 19, from 4-8 PM in The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.). A blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM with a memorial luncheon to follow at Embassy Suites (Moon Twp). Private entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Twp. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Margaret Mary Parish, Moon Twp.
