Manuel Sanchez Jr.

Manuel Sanchez Jr., 89, of Beaver, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.  He was born in West Aliquippa on February 13, 1934 a son of the late Manuel Sanchez Sr. and Rose (Geleo) Sanchez. Manny grew up in Monaca heights and graduated from Monaca High School in 1952. After graduation he spend 4 years in the United States Airforce.  After the Airforce he started working at Westinghouse in Vanport, until his retirement at age 62. He was a member of the New Life Anglican Church of Beaver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two children: Gary Sanchez in 1996 and Cindy Fletcher in 2020, and his sister, Mary Sanchez Bender.

He is survived by his beloved wife Myrtle (Swager) Sanchez, whom he married in 1952 and his best friend Fr. Scott Homer.

All services are private.

Interment was in Beaver Cemetery.
