Adrienne Pixler
Adrienne Pixler, 88, of Center Twp., went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2023 surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on September 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy Caler. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa. She married the love of her life, Wayne Pixler, on July 28, 1950 and they spent 72 loving years together. Adrienne devoted her entire life to support and care for her family. Her love for her family was endless. Adrienne was the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother that God could have given to all of us. Aside from spending time with her family, she enjoyed antiquing. She owned and operated Adrienne’s Antiques in Portersville. She also loved to work with flowers and was a member of the Beaver Area Garden Club. She and Wayne loved country music and going out dancing together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Marlene Koch, and a son-in-law: Greg Puhalla.
She is survived by her husband: Wayne Pixler, Center Twp.; three daughters: Linda Puhalla, Mars; Bonnie Zelenak, Hopewell Twp.; and Cheryl (Tim) McCauley, Kennerdell; five grandchildren: Cory (Lenka) Zelenak, Geof (Kim) Puhalla, Brad Puhalla, Timmy McCauley, and Rachael McCauley; three great grandchildren: Colin, Camryn, and Caitlyn Puhalla.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 20, 2023 at 11am in the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa. Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
