Anne J. Leeper

Anne J. Leeper, 89 of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 23, 2016, in the Haven Hospice Care Center, Gainesville Fl. She was born June 28, 1927, in Rochester, the daughter of the late John M. & Edith (Scheidner) Johnston. Anne was a member of theFirst United Methodist Church of Aliquippa, where she served on many committees and was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Woodlawn Chapter 164 Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Leeper, on May 16, 1987; three sisters, Lois Russell, Miriam McGrail, & Sarah DeCaro; three brothers, Marty, Al, & Jimmy Johnston. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Bigger, Gainesville FL and Pamela (Thomas) Lewis, Hopewell Twp.; two sons, Robert ( Linda) Leeper, Pawleys Island,SC., and Randall (Donna) Leeper, Mount Joy, PA.; nine grandchildren, Kathryn (Eric) Laufenberg, Rebecca (John) Atkinson, Christopher (Ashley) Eckert, William Leeper, Thomas Lewis, David (Samantha) leeper, Robert Bigger, Patrick Leeper and Megan Lewis; five great grandchildren, Julia and Ben Laufenberg, Sophie and Gwen Atkinson, and Norah Leeper; one brother, John (Dorothy) Johnston. Friends will be received Saturday in the First United Methodist Church, Broadhead & Chapel Road, Aliquippa, from 10:30 until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Mill Creek Cemetery, Hookstown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 2816 Broadhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001. Arrangements are by Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Aliquippa.
