George C. Edling

George C. Edling, 73, of Economy Boro, passed away on March 6, 2016. He was born in Pittsburgh on January 20, 1943. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Yvonne Sekerak; granddaughter, Krista; and his parents, Bill and Emily (Frioni) Edling. George is a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He also worked for many years with LTV Steel. He attended and was an Associate graduate of CCBC, and member of the Conway Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. He also took pride in being a softball coach for many years with Economy Boro Softball League. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara (Kaylor) Edling; his children, April (Mike) Farris, of Clevland OH., Anthony Edling, of Ambridge, Bernadette Edling (fiancé- Chris Domurat) of NY; 9 grandchildren, Nicole, Erica, Bethann, Amber, RJ, Christian, Bobby, Kyle, Mia; and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Emily. He is also survived by his brothers, Norman (Linda) Edling, of TX, and Dwayne (Cay) Edling, of CO., and may cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 12pm until time of funeral service at 4pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) Services will be conducted by his pastor, Dr. Rev. Rich Grassel. Interment will be private.
