Elinor G. (Babcock) Taylor

Elinor G. (Babcock) Taylor, 99, of Moon Twp., died on March 22, 2026 in her home. She was born in Malden, MA on May 23, 1926 the daughter of the late Newell & Greta (Bishop) Babcock. 

Elinor lived a full and beautiful life, filled with joy, always surrounded by family, and known for being a loving and supportive presence to those she held dear. She was married for 75 years to her devoted husband, John H, Taylor. Elinor loved animals, especially dogs, and was an avid card player who particularly enjoyed bridge. She cherished time spent with her family and found great happiness in vacationing together.

Elinor is survived by her three daughters, Gayle Taylor, NY; Glenda Lamb, Moon Twp.; Stacey Atkinson (James), Moon Twp., and her grandchildren, Lindsay Lamb, Lauren Lamb, Carolynn Lamb, and Ryan Kelly; along with several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Elinor was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Taylor, and a son, Gary Taylor.

Memorial will take place on March 31st, 2026 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
