Chester “Sonny” Smith

Chester John “Sonny” Smith, 77 of Crescent Twp., passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025.  He was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania on December 28, 1947 a son of the late Delores June (Bradley) & Chester James Smith.  He was retired from J&L LTV Steel.  Sonny liked to have a good time, he loved to go out dancing.  He always enjoyed spending his time at Tinkers and Trenny’s Bar and Grills. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Diann Morrida.

He is survived by his siblings: Judy Stuby, Debi Wells, Charlie (Martha) Smith, Mary Barcheski, and Delores (Harold) Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a date.

Private interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 1pm.
