Lillian B. Corbin

Lillian B. Corbin, 94, of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 in her home.  She was born in Rochester on November 21, 1930 a daughter of the late Harold & Ida McKnight. A Monaca High School Graduate.  She worked as a Unit Secretary and Monitor Technician at the University General Hospital in Seminole, Florida from 1979~1995 where she was the 1993 employee of the year.  She loved to volunteer for the Beaver Area Memorial Library, she was head of circulation from 1996~2007. She was also a member of Wildwood Chapel in Hopewell Twp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William Corbin; seven brothers: Ronald, Donald, Keith, Richard, Stewart, Raymond and Gail McKnight. 

She is survived by her 4 children: Brenda Lee McGaffic; Richard McGaffic; Kenneth & Linda McGaffic, and Terry & Iris McGaffic; four grandchildren: Erin (Chad) Rupp, Kelly (Josh) Mesko, Amber (Tom) Woodring, and Jesse (Ann) McGaffic; six great grandchildren: Caleb & Tanner Rupp, Tristan Woodring, Archer McGaffic, Jaxson & Grayson Mesko; and a sister, Janet Yokoyama

Friends will be received on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 2pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4pm in Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester conducted by her son Pastor Kenneth McGaffic.

Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beaver Area Memorial Library, 100 College Ave. Beaver, PA 15009 or to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd. Aliquippa PA 15001

  1. I loved working with Lil at the Beaver Library. Lil helped train me in her job. She was a special lady. Condolences to the family❤️💐

  2. I worked with Lil at Beaver Library and also learned a great deal from her. I still work there and sit where she did, looking out over the circulation desk. May she rest in peace.

  3. We will miss Lillian. She was a great neighbor with a terrific sense of humor.
