Margaret Alice “Peg” (Platts) Porada, of Robinson Twp., died on November 27, 2024 in Tapestry Senior Living, Moon Twp. She was born in Pittsburgh on May 24, 1938 the daughter of the late John & Katherine (Skiles) Platts.
Graduate of Langley high School
Peg is survived by her son, David Frank Porada Jr. (Kim), Coraopolis and daughter, Beth Schogren (Tim) Pittsburgh. Seven Grandchildren, Cassady K. Adams, Maddy E. DeAngelis & Kristina R. Soltez, Timothy D. Jr. & Heather Schogren, Daughter in law, Shelley Porada. Jacquelyn & Colson Porada. Sister. Mary Monti. Great Grand kids, Ford DeAngelis, Rosie and Charlie Soltez, Blue, Emma, and Anneli Schogren.
In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her husband David Frank Porada, Sr. in 1995. Her son, Brian Keith Porada, a granddaughter Ashlyn Porada, sisters and brother, Joann Jeffries. John Platts, Jean Smith.
Friends will be received on Wednesday December 4th from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM. Interment will Follow at Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorial; contributions can be made to: The Missionary Fund, at the Allegheny Center Christian Missionary Alliance Church.

I cannot express with words the sorrow I feel with Mrs. P’s passing. She was another mother to me and I will forever be grateful for all the love and support she has shown me for almost 50 years. She is reunited with her beloved husband, son and granddaughter in the presence of the God she loved. This is a great loss and she will be dearly missed by many.
