Mary Jane Browning

Mary Jane Browning, 77, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 in her home.  She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on August 8, 1947 the daughter of the late Eugene and Betty Dowling.  She was a 1969 graduate of California University with a degree in Psychology. She was a lifelong member of the ZTA Sorority. Mary worked as a substitute elementary teacher for both Aliquippa and Hopewell School Districts.  She eventually became a librarian at Aliquippa School District.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, H. Richard Browning; her daughter: Lori Browning, Virgina; her lonely cat; “The Wild Thing”, and many friends and relatives.

As were her wishes, all services are private.
