Robert Pitt Propst
Robert Pitt Propst, 71 of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 in his home. Born in Sewickley, PA on December 23, 1951 the son of the late Martin Pitt and Norma Gene Propst. He retired from the corrosion department of Peoples Gas. Was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending his time woodworking and was a long-time member of the Hopewell VFW #8805.
He is survived by his loving wife: Susan Propst; 2 sons: Robert Pitt Propst Jr (Laura), Economy Boro; Jason William Propst, Palmetto, FL; 3 granddaughters; 3 sisters: Nina Palsa (Albert), Raccoon Twp.; Alis Dewitt, Citrus Heights, CA; and Mary Kay Lemon (Marvin), Little Hocking, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service was held for family. A public celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
